Jill Hazel

Hi, my name is Jill Hazel, and I am an official Yooper! I grew up in a family business started by my mom and dad in 1949 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is still ongoing and successful as my 8 siblings, and I continue to oversee the operations. My family's guiding principles are excellent customer service, treating people as family, and connecting and adapting the team to changing circumstances throughout the years. I bring that same passion into the real estate world! I am a well-seasoned business professional and have participated in many real estate transactions, including buying and selling homes, commercial transactions, and locating investment properties. I am also the owner and team lead of Jill Hazel & Associates, my real estate group with Coldwell Banker in the Phoenix area and am now licensed for both residential and commercial sales in Northern Michigan, including the Eastern Upper Peninsula. I also hold a designation as a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist. I have been a dedicated citizen of my community over the years and have received many awards attesting to my diligence and hard work including the Sam Walton Businessperson of the Year, the Sault Ste Marie Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year, Best Western International's District III Governor of the Year, and owning and operating the #1 hotel on TripAdvisor in the area. I also served on the State of Michigan Tourism Board, was President of my local Convention and Visitors Board, Chair of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Workforce Development Board and Treasurer of both the local Economic Development board and my church's Financial Committee. I attended the University of Michigan, received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Central Michigan University, and received an M.B.A. from Lake Superior State University. My genuine desire to learn keeps me continually fine tuning my real estate skills and knowledge. My passion for working with people and making a difficult process easier, while having fun doing so, also makes me unique to the industry. My goal is to make your goals happen.
