My career began when I was in sixth grade working for my Father at our family-owned Dry Cleaning establishment. I attended Our Lady of Mercy Elementary and High School graduated at Merced High School, attended Merced Community College and San Francisco State University. My Career in Real Estate began in 1977, as a Mortgage Banker in the Bay Area. I was recruited by a Saving & Loan in Stockton and was rapidly promoted as Construction Loan Officer and Regional Manager in Sacramento. Eventually, I worked my way up to Vice President in the Construction loan portfolios for Builder/Developer accounts in Northern California. The loan division I worked for in was re0structured and moved to Seattle WA and I chose to return, again to my roots in Merced. After a brief time off from work which was intended to better my golf handicap, I returned to residential lending as a branch manager, growing a local company from one-person office to a leading lender in Merced. At the onset of the financial meltdown in 2007, I again took an employment hiatus and tried again to improve my golf handicap, this didn’t last very long, and I decided not to return to lending eventually deciding to become a Commercial Realtor®. I RECEIVED MY Real Estate License #01819755 in August of 2009.

Merced Area marketplace for Commercial Real Estate is rather small and personal, it’s still a small town. I have developed long-lasting relationships with City Management and meet regularly with City Economic Development and City Planning Director. Many of my clients and customers tell me that I seem to know everyone. I currently have 15 for sale or for lease listings. I have represented the Main place Theatre Center which is a retail center for the past 4+ years, I am responsible for all the retail lease activity. The center is approximately 13,000 retail space in downtown Merced. I introduced a local landowner of 70 acres of retail commercial land and a development company who have joined together to develop a retail center now known as Merced Gateway. I have recently listed 8.4 acres inside the development which is designed for a 178-unit apartment project. Also, in this same subdivision, I am currently working with two proposed buyers, one for a car wah and the other for a daycare center.
I concentrate on retail, office, land and industrial sales & Leasing in Merced/Atwater markets only. I have a strong knowledge of pricing for all sectors of these markets.
