Eric Ebeling

ABOUT

As a father of five, with two married kids and a third engaged to be married this summer, plus a deep background in business, real estate, education and mission work, Eric Ebeling understands firsthand the many complexities of life. Often real estate transactions are a microcosm for life. “As realtors we get to wear many hats such as that of an accountant, business developer, counselor, educator, voice of reason and even pastor. Aligning all aspects together is an art.” He admits that his artistry isn’t always perfect, but each client interaction and new real estate transaction provides a creative canvas for expressing care, instigating improvement, and imagining creative solutions to get all parties to the closing table.
With years of experience in real estate as an appraiser, residential agent, commercial broker, as well as a background in K-12 education and ministry, Eric has developed a unique set of skills and experiences that inform his approach to leadership and service. More recently, he served for several years in missions at Chiang Rai International Christian School as a 5th grade teacher, and campus minister. There, he had the opportunity to navigate complex issues related to business and accreditation, including an eminent domain case that required drawing on his experience and expertise in real estate and creative problem solving. He loves times like this when different aspects of his life synergistically collide. Since returning from Thailand mission field, Eric worked the last couple years with Real Estate One in Oxford. As for those sweet life-collisions, just last week he officiated the wedding for two of his commercial real estate clients.
As a past Oxford Cup recipient from nearby Oxford High School and now having two kids passionately involved in the drama department there, you will find Eric at OHS building sets or sometimes working concessions as a Band Booster Dad. He also serves on the Rochester University’s Foundation’s Board of Directors and sings with their Choral Union. If you want to know more about Eric, he is always eager to build relationships and engage with others. In fact, you may want to buy him a cup of coffee at nearby Abeantogo. To sit, chat and have other people pay for his coffee and food is one of his favorite activities. If you won’t buy him coffee, at least pop in and say hello at the Orion/Oxford office. He’s right next to Peggy and excited to be working with her!
