ABOUT

My name is Rob Longo, and I am a proud second-generation Realtor. I have been fortunate through my career to become one of the top Realtors in the Sarnia-Lambton area, which I attribute not just to a hard work ethic, but also to the love of my career. I love that my job takes me to new places every day. I have gotten the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people and experience a lot of unique and wonderful places throughout my career that I never would have otherwise.

Sarnia-Lambton is where I was born, and where I have spent my entire life (except for 4 years at the University of Windsor!), so I like to say that I know our area inside and out. I am deeply rooted an committed to this community. My mother was born and raised in Point Edward (not Sarnia, as everyone from 'The Point' is quick to point out!). My father's family emigrated to Sarnia from Italy in 1961, and ever since they have been actively involved in real estate and construction throughout the area. Being raised in such a family means that I spent most of my younger years either looking at homes or buildings with dad, or on construction sites with my uncle. And to be honest, I just really love houses and buildings. I know that might sound a bit weird, but it's true! Ever since I was young I have been obsessed with architecture, design, and construction.

My commitment to my community extends beyond just finding matching great properties to wonderful clients, I've also had the opportunity to be involved with many great community organizations, whether it's through my board of director positions with the Huron House Boys Home and the Sarnia-Lambton Real Estate Board, or through volunteered time throughout the community, I'm always happy to lend a hand where I can. When you love our community as much as I do, promoting local businesses, events, and the beauty that is our area just comes naturally.

So far in my career, I have been fortunate to have been involved in a very diverse and wide-range of real estate transactions. From townhomes and condos, lakefront property, development land, commercial sales and leasing, and multi-residential apartment complexes, I've seen it all. No matter the size of the transaction, or the type of property, what matters in real estate is still the people. Because behind every property is a person entrusting me with what is often the largest investment of their lives. And that is something I take to heart throughout every transaction. In our business even small percentage changes in price can result in thousands of dollars more or less, I understand that for my clients every dollar counts.
