He has owned and operated several successful businesses, including one that specialized in modifications of homes and businesses for handicap accessibility. He has also bought and sold a lot of real estate over the years, commercial and residential. In 2014, he was elected to the Gainesville City Commission and enjoyed the challenge of applying his problem solving skills to City and constituent issues. He has also served as chair of the Community Redevelopment Agency, and is a member of the Fisher House Advisory Board and Gainesville Rotary Club. Michelle Carter came to the University of Florida and never left! She worked for many years as Marketing Coordinator for an engineering firm and then co-owned and managed several businesses with Craig. She is very detail oriented and organized and is excited to be using those marketing skills in commercial real estate.
