Michael R. Dorsey is the Managing Principal of the Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance Orange County office. The office was launched in January 2013, and delivers a full menu of commercial real estate services for small cap and mid-size real estate investors and commercial tenants throughout the Orange County, California market. Mr. Dorsey has over 30 years of commercial real estate and brokerage experience and has provided an array of services throughout his career, including the development, leasing, and sales of primarily high-rise Class A, mixed-use office projects within th e entire Southern California commercial real estate market. He has served the real estate needs of a number of clients, including major investors, developers and tenants, such as; The Koll Company, Birtcher Property Services, Prudential Life Insurance Company, Trammel Crow, CIGNA, Aetna Life & Casualty, Union Bank of California, Times Mirror Corporation, Lennar, Wells Fargo as well as numerous other recognized corporations and professional service firms. Before launching the Coldwell Banker Commercial Orange County office, Mr. Dorsey served as a Senior Vice President in the Irvine Office of Volt Real Estate Services. Prior to that, Mr. Dorsey was a top producing salesman for the nation's two largest commercial real estate firms, CB Richard Ellis and a twenty plus year stint at Grubb & Ellis. In addition to his transactional brokerage experience, his broad career also includes a six-year period serving as Sales Manager of Grubb & Ellis' number one producing office located in Newport Beach, California. Mr. Dorsey is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and holds a post graduate Degree from California State University at Los Angeles. He is actively involved in numerous commercial real estate and business trade organizations, inc luding NAIOP, ICSC, AIR, ULI & SIOR. Mr. Dorsey resides in Monarch Beach, California with his wife Rima and their four daughters Addie, Brooke, Cassie Rae, and Emma.
