James Parrish

J. Parrish is co-owner and 5th generation to work in his family real estate company. He grew up in Gainesville and returned after graduating from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Under his tenure as Broker, the company has closed over 15,000 transaction sides. J.'s intimate knowledge of the greater Gainesville communities, his extensive real estate valuation and transaction management expertise, and his broad matrix of professional and personal relationships bring valuable resources to the company's sales team and customers. J. stays very involved with industry-related groups including the local and state Realtor Associations and the Multiple Listing Service. He is a leader among his peers in the vast network of Coldwell Banker affiliate companies across the region, and has served on the broker advisory committee for the Coldwell Banker Southern Region. J. has earned a reputation among his customers and colleagues of managing his business according to the Golden Rule. His favorite pastime is sharing his love for the north FL woods and waters through fishing and hunting adventures with his friends and family. J. is very lucky to be married to his college sweetheart, Dr. Sarah McKune, Assistant Professor of Environmental and Global Health at the University of Florida. His wife and children are the center of his universe, and they live in the historic Duckpond Neighborhood in downtown Gainesville.
