Due to John Jones's involvement in the Jackson County Board of REALTORS, where he served as a member of the Board of Directors, Vice-President and President and because of his extensive professional involvement in community affairs he was named the 1993 REALTOR of the Year by the Jackson County Board of REALTORS. In 2004 he was named REALTOR of the Year by the East Gulf Coast Board of REALTORS. He was also named Mississippi's REALTOR of the Year in 2004. In 2003 John was named Instructor of the Year by Mississippi Association of REALTORS.
