John Mayers Biography Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT My capabilities, experience, and marketing expertise in the lodging industry are extensive. I have been active in Real Estate for over thirty years, over twenty five years with Merrill Lynch, Prudential Florida Realty, Arvida Realty Services, and now Coldwell Banker NRT. I have been a Prudential Pinnacle award winner and number one commercial producer worldwide for two years straight and a top five sales associates (out of 34,000 worldwide) in the Prudential and subsequently Coldwell Banker Network. My background is commercial, working extensively on hotel transactions. I was until last year a partner in the Marriott Fairfield Inn, Ft Lauderdale, Florida and The Marriott Residence Inn in Columbia, Maryland. I have attended the NYU Hospitality conference for the past 25 years and I’m on a first name bases with most of the CEO’s and CFO’s of the Major hotel companies. I have brokered: A portfolio of four hotels (478 rooms) in Sarasota, Florida. The Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden, Americinn and the Holiday Inn. I subsequently resold the Holiday Inn. The 160 room Marriott North Lauderdale, The 230 room Doubletree Palm Beach Gardens Fl, The 212 room Ft. Lauderdale Doubletree Galleria, The 100 room Best Western ocean side resort $6.8 million, The 223- room DoubleTree Hotel Oceanfront Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, The 365-room Sheraton Atlanta airport, The 360- room Radisson Somerset, New Jersey (now a DoubleTree), The Torry Pines Inn, La Jolla, California, The sale of the land and leasehold interest in the 550 room Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, The 360 room historic Governor Morris hotel in Morristown New Jersey to Meristar. The Sheraton Suites at the Fashion Mall, Plantation, Florida The 200 Room Howard Johnson’s Hallandale Beach, and numerous Holiday Inns and limited service hotels. A portfolio of Five Wyndham hotels, from the parent company to Thayer’s Lodging LLP. The Wyndham Miami Airport, Peachtree, Atlanta, Lyle Ill. and the Wyndham Colorado Springs. In September 1997 I was employed by Thayer Lodging Opportunities, LP to market three Marriott Residence Inns, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tucson, Arizona. These properties were first generation Marriott Residence Inns located in secondary markets. The marketing materials on the Residence Inns were sent to twenty qualified buyers of extended stay properties.
