Chuck Hawley is the managing partner for CBC Cornerstone Real Estate. Mr. Hawley has been a commercial real estate professional for over thirty five (35) years. He started his career in property management and leasing and eventually worked his way to Vice President of the Southwest Region for Wilson Cornerstone Properties (a former national REIT). His roles have included responsibility and oversight and management of a national portfolio of commercial properties (retail, office, mixed-use, industrial and land). Mr. Hawley was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. He is a graduate of Casper College and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Wyoming. After college, Mr. Hawley spent 18 years as a commercial real estate professional in Los Angeles, CA, and was actively involved in property management functions, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and asset management Having worked for national powerhouse owners such as Prentiss Properties, Equity Office Properties, General Growth Properties, Wilson Cornerstone and Douglas Emmett, Chuck has a depth of experience with various product types. While at General Growth, Mr. Hawley oversaw an asset in their portfolio (Eastridge Mall) that was voted most improved and best leasing in its size category in 2004. During Mr. Hawley’s time in Los Angeles, he served as the Vice President of the Southwest Region for the fourth largest publicly traded REIT, Wilson Cornerstone. His responsibilities included the overall maximization of asset values and financial performance for 34 commercial office buildings in Southern California, Arizona, and Colorado totaling over 4 million square feet. In addition, he was responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of short- and long-range business strategies, company objectives and business plans for the region. He also provided oversight to over one hundred employees. Regarding leasing, Mr. Hawley has represented several key retail and office/medical/retail owners and tenants in leasing properties. National Tenants include Cray Computer Inc., Disney, Prudential, Cigna, Starbuck’s, Game Stop, Cold Stone Creamery, Dollar Tree, H&R Block, Progressive Insurance, Harbor Freight Tools, Verizon Wireless, WY Athletic Club, Source Gas, Kelly Services, GNC, AT&T, Qdoba, Five Guys, Great Clips, Jimmy Johns, Complete Nutrition as well as many other national and locals companies. Medical deals include United Healthcare, Amediysis, Nevada Healthcare Center’s Inc., Healthcare Partners, Clinical Pathologies, and Centers for Behavioral Health, The Veteran’s Administration, Wyoming Medical Center, Smile Academy Dentistry Group and DaVita Medical Group . In addition, Mr. Hawley has been involved in over two hundred lease transactions with local tenants in Casper .
