Los Angeles (October 18, 2021) – Coldwell Banker Commercial is pleased to have represented the buyer in the acquisition of a student housing complex in Los Angeles, located adjacent to the University of Southern California. The property sold for $8.9 million.

Robert Ip, a commercial real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, represented the buyer in the transaction.

The three-story, 33-unit student housing complex was built in 2019 and is located at 1130 W. 36th Pl. in Los Angeles, CA. The apartment complex measures 14,417 square feet and sits on a double lot measuring 16,949 square feet. The units are a mix of one and three-bedroom apartments with modern appliances and central heating and air conditioning.

“The buyer is optimistic about student housing in the Los Angeles area, as this is the fourth student housing property they’ve purchased and believe that the desire for such properties will continue based on both steady investor and student demand,” said Ip.
