RIM FOREST LUMBER CO. BUSINESS AND PROPERTIES IN RIMFOREST, CALIF. SELL FOR COMBINED $7.4 MILLION

Rimforest, Calif. (October 18, 2021) – Coldwell Banker Commercial is pleased to have represented both the buyer and the seller in the sale of Rim Forest Lumber Co., located in Rimforest, Calif. The business sold for $3.8 million, and the five properties the business operated out of sold for $3.6 million, for a combined $7.4 million.

Among the properties included in the sale were a 70+ year-old lumberyard and a 9,500 square feet hardware store which offered a wide variety of building materials and household items. The business and properties were sold on June 30, 2021.

Jason Lamoreaux, owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Solutions and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Solutions affiliated broker Kyle Vizzo represented both the buyer, Dave Wiest, and the seller, Butch Baumann. Wiest continues to operate the business as Rim Forest Lumber Co.

Sold properties located in Rimforest, Calif. included 26470-26567 Pine Ave. and 26465 Apache Trail. The business and location are well known in the community and the sale represents a historic transfer after 50 years of single ownership.
