Fred Schmidt Named “Best Boss” in Commercial Real Estate

MADISON, N.J. (July 6, 2017) – Fred Schmidt, president & chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates, has been named to Real Estate Forum’s list of the “Best Bosses in the Business” among the commercial real estate industry’s best leaders.

The winners were nominated by their peers based on their most remarkable characteristic. Schmidt won in the “Motivator” category, for believing that happy employees are the number-one driver of success. Schmidt was recognized for his natural ability to motivate his colleagues by fostering a sense of pride, commitment, and teamwork within the Coldwell Banker Commercial organization.

Fred Schmidt was appointed president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates in February 2010. He is a veteran commercial real estate professional with more than 36 years of experience in the industry, and has held posts with Realogy Corporation and Coldwell Banker Commercial for seven years prior to this promotion. In his current role, Schmidt leads a growing franchise system that has approximately 200 companies and 3,000 commercial real estate professionals operating in 44 countries worldwide.
