COLDWELL BANKER COMMERCIAL REALTY FACILITATES SALE OF FORMER BANK OF AMERICA BRANCH IN POMPANO BEACH TO CLARIDGE HOMES
POMPANO BEACH, FLA. (April 26, 2023) – Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty is pleased to announce that it has facilitated the sale of 101 S. Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach, formerly a Banker of America branch. The 4,864 square-foot building on .77 acres was sold for $4,522,222.
William Miller of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty represented the buyer, Claridge Homes (101 Hotel) LP and its CEO, Bill Malhotra. The seller was Bank of America National Association.
According to Miller, the building will house a short-term sales center for Claridge Homes’ Oceanfront condominium development. Miller previously worked with Claridge Homes on its purchase of the development site in 2022.
“I have been proud to represent Claridge Homes as they put their plan to develop the Oceanfront condos into motion. This is a prime location within the Pompano Beach Atlantic Overlay District, two blocks from the beach and close to the upscale shopping, dining and entertainment at Pompano Pier.
Claridge Homes purchased the Coral Tides Resort, located at 580 Briny Ave., in 2022 for $13.5 million. The hotel was demolished and, in its place, Claridge Homes is working with FSMY Architects + Planners to build an 11-story building with 28 condominiums and an underground parking garage.
