“It’s Just Us”: Coldwell Banker Commercial Celebrates Top 2% and Commercial Elite in Park City
At Coldwell Banker Commercial, we believe that excellence deserves to be celebrated—not just with awards, but with experiences that inspire. That’s why every year, we honor our Top 2% professionals and Commercial Elite companies with an all-expense-paid trip for them and a guest. This year, that celebration brought us to the serene beauty of Park City, Utah—during a perfect “in-between” season where, as our Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Dan Spiegel, put it: “It’s just us.”
That sense of closeness defined the experience. By choosing a boutique property like Pendry Park City and planning our event during the serene shoulder season, we created a space that felt personal, intentional, and united—exactly the kind of reward our honorees deserve.
The trip kicked off with an outdoor, professionally catered Sunday welcome reception at Pendry Plaza East. For early arrivals, the charming and quirky Park Silly Sunday Market on Main Street was a bonus treat—offering live music, street food, local art, and one-of-a-kind finds in an open-air setting.
Monday’s agenda mixed business with leisure. After a productive morning meeting and networking breakfast, attendees geared up for customized afternoon activities including fly fishing, golf, guided hikes, cooking classes, and a local mines & wines tour. First-time award winners were also treated to an exclusive sushi-making class and dinner at Snow Park Lodge—complete with hands-on rolling, a chef-crafted meal, and stunning Deer Valley views. We are proud to have 30% of our qualifiers be first-timers this year.
For those seeking adventure during the free time built into the schedule, Park City delivered. Guests had the option to explore Winter Park, try electric bike tours, go river rafting, or enjoy some solo time on the trails and in town. With the Pendry offering hourly shuttle service to Main Street, the charm of downtown was always close by.
The grand finale? A Western Chic-themed celebration at Kimball Terrace on Historic Main Street. Our CBC network showed up in style, fully embracing the theme for a night filled with music, connection, and local flavor. Guests enjoyed a custom honey tasting, branded keychains, and a signature cocktail—named by winners from Monday’s business session. A local band, introduced by a CBC member, kept the energy high, and one of our own guests even took the mic for a surprise performance. A perfect close to a week that truly felt like just us.
This annual experience is more than a reward—it’s a reminder of what it means to be part of something bigger. At CBC, we don’t just recognize success. We build belonging. And for a few days in Park City, it truly felt like just us.
