Bill Rex

William “Bill” Rex has been active in the Commercial Real Estate field since 1994. Prior to real estate, he was employed by Corning Glass Co. and Pfizer-Upjohn. Bill retired following 28 years in the pharmaceutical industry where he was a corporate data base manager and senior HR specialist.
Past real estate clients include Archway Co. (home office sale), Budweiser (sale of distribution center), R&L Trucking (land site purchase), Fed-Ex (land site purchase), Vacarro Warehousing (sale of facilities), Kerr Glass Co., (sale of warehouse), Marine Max (marina purchase), SWFL Tractor (purchase of facility), Aluminum Specialties (purchase of facility), and SRE Culinary (purchase of facility).


Bill enjoys working with clients: large and small. His specialties include industrial properties, downtown Class A offices, land representation, and St. Armands retail.
He has been volunteer with various organizations, including United Way (fund raising), SW Michigan Commercial Group (Past-Chair), Jaycees, Saint Armands Residents (Past-President), Ringling Museum (volunteer), Caritas and K of C charity projects. He is a member of Sarasota Commercial Investment Div., Sarasota Tiger Bay Club, FL Assn. of Realtors and has completed 3 of his CCIM courses.

Bill and his wife, Jill, re-located to Sarasota in 2000. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
