Mike McDowell
ABOUT
Mike McDowell joined the Emmco Realty Group in 2014 and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson with the State of Ohio. A native of Wichita, Kansas, Mike spent ten years in executive management for a national retail chain. Charged with site selection and business development, he grew the business in a challenging environment. Mike spent the previous nineteen years representing both tenants and landlords on a local and regional basis, offering a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the retail and restaurant industries. Mike’s background includes a list of prominent local and national retailers and restaurant owners for whom he is responsible for implementing their real estate programs. On a regional level some of those tenants have included Fitness Together, UPS Stores, Yours Truly, Tumbleweed Steakhouse, Shinto Japanese Steakhouse, Gino’s More than just Italian, and Panini’s Bar & Grill. He currently represents City BBQ in Northeast Ohio in addition to sale and leasing of land parcels and shopping centers. Because of Mike’s previous experience in the retail arena, he brings a unique set of attributes that builds loyalty to the relationships he has with his clients. As a third-party property leasing representative Mike has assisted landlords in successfully leasing their strip centers and shopping centers. His creativity, keen sense of tenant mix, and ability to follow direction has been a great benefit to both the communities and landlords he has worked with. Mike is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce. He regularly attends national, regional, and statewide educational seminars.
