Jim Shook has been a real estate professional since 1982. He spent six years in Chicago as an office broker, returning to the family real estate business in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1988. In 2001, Jim established Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services in Indianapolis and serves as its President and Principal Broker. The company has grown and thrived in the Indianapolis market to become an established member of the national Coldwell Banker Commercial family. Recently, the firm was invited to be a founding member of Realogy, Inc's premier commercial real estate network, ONCOR International. Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services is built around a high-touch, results-oriented service platform. The company specializes in leasing, acquisition & disposition, investment properties, land assembly and real estate finance. It works across the spectrum of office, retail, industrial, investment and land. , The company's professionals offer a wide range of expertise, depth in analytics, creative solutions and exemplary customer service while thinking, acting and engaging as entrepreneurs in pursuit of our clients' success. Jim’s 30 year real estate brokerage career includes significant transaction experience in virtually every property category making him well-qualified to address the real estate challenges faced by companies, investors and individuals. Jim has developed land, owned and managed office buildings & retail centers, and has arranged complicated financing in multiple property categories. This depth of experience provides him the tools necessary to keep the firm's vision focused, serve its clients and motivate the professionals with whom he is affiliated. Jim shares his family's convictions about giving back to the community and does so by serving organizations such as The Indiana Historical Society, The Camping and Education Foundation and The Phoenix Theater, to name a few.
