COLDWELL BANKER COMMERCIAL REPRESENTS SELLER IN $4 MILLION MULTIFAMILY PROPERTY SALE

Salem, Ore. (October 25, 2021) — Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the seller in the disposition of Bayberry Apartments, a 28-unit multifamily property in Salem, Ore. The property sold for $4 million.  

Alex Rhoten and Kelsi Sands, commercial real estate professionals with Coldwell Banker Commercial Mountain West Real Estate, represented the seller, a private investor, in the transaction.

The two-story property, built in 1977 and consisting of a mix of one and two-bedroom units, is located at 1015-1069 Liberty St. SE.

“We significantly increased the sale price by aggressively implementing a rent plan during covid restrictions, which allowed the seller to get top dollar. Seeing the upside, the buyer jumped at the opportunity to invest in this property, beating out other buyers,” said Rhoten.

“The deal required creativity and perseverance from both the buyer, the seller and subsequent parties. The transaction allowed each party to take the next step in their investment goals and was a win-win during a real estate market full of unknowns,” said Sands.
