Congratulations to Christina Balas, Coldwell Banker Commercial’s national director for strategic implementation, who was named as part of Otso’s 2022 Women of Commercial Real Estate, which highlights and recognizes the 25 most influential women owners, dealmakers, creators and innovators in commercial real estate. Otso is a financial services company formed by industry veterans of commercial real estate, finance, and technology to revolutionize the commercial leasing process for both tenant and landlord.

Nominees (who were nominated by one of the women on the 2021 Women of Commercial Real Estate list) exemplify three specific pillars: 1) promote inspirational women leaders who want to raise other women up 2) promote both the transactional and technological sides of our industry and 3) promote diversity.

In her role, Christina, along with larger Coldwell Banker Commercial leadership, helps lead strategy development and operations nationally for Coldwell Banker Commercial. She is responsible for process development with growth and exceptional execution at the center of her initiatives and is a fierce advocate for amplifying the voices and profiles of women in commercial real estate at her company and beyond. She spearheads the CRE Women in CBC and is a host of the CRE with CBCWorldwide podcast where she highlights values, culture, and success at work. As a first-generation American, she has long been an advocate for equity and inclusion, but deeper than that, advocates for participation as the key to achieving progress. Christina holds a master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Rutgers University.
