Wayne Burgdorf is a broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors Dallas/Fort Worth. His primary areas of brokerage expertise include land and improved office, industrial, and religious property sales, but he has brokered many other property types in his career. Burgdorf started in real estate in the mid-1980s, giving him valuable experience in both up and down real estate market cycles. He is well known in the real estate brokerage field for his pro-active marketing approaches, work ethic, creativity, and old fashion customer service and professionalism. Burgdorf's involvement in real estate has been broad based. He started as an appraiser, earning the MAI designation and appraising many property types. He has participated in real estate investing as a principal in land, residential, commercial, and mineral estate properties. He has served as a consultant to governmental entities in regards to secondary effect studies on property values. He has represented clients in zoning change cases, represented clients in ad valorem tax appeals, served as an expert witness many times, and represented mineral rights owners in lease negotiations. He has even taught real estate courses through the University of Texas at Arlington continuing education department. Burgdorf is a member and serves on committees in the Society of Commercial REALTORS, Arlington Board of REALTORS, and Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS. Other trade associations where he has participated include the metro Commercial Industrial Brokers (CIB), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association. Burgdorf grew up in the Dallas area, then graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with an Accounting Degree. He is active on the Board of Directors of Green Oaks School, and is very active in his Church. He and his family have lived in Arlington many years.
