EXPERTISE
A commercial broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine, Rick Cauthen joined the company in 2004. He brings with him over twenty years of commercial real estate experience with a rich background in site location and economic development. Rick left his own real estate and economic development consulting firm to join the Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine team. He is located in the Greenville office.
EDUCATION
Rick is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration. Active in the community, Rick is a member of the Global Business Consortium Board of Directors, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors. Rick is an active member of Brookwood Church where he serves on the Prayer Ministry team.
EXPERIENCE
Rick specializes in commercial real estate with an emphasis on industrial, retail, office listings, and buyer’s representation. He also specializes in incentive negotiation for his real estate clients. Additionally, he performs economic development consulting for economic development organizations throughout the United States. His distinguished career includes positions as principal/owner of his own real estate consulting firm, site location consultant for Fluor Daniel Siting and Consulting Services, Principal of Fluor Global Location Strategies, Director of Economic Development for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and Economic Development International Project Manager for the South Carolina Department of Commerce. This experience helps him to approach commercial brokerage with a unique perspective allowing him to help clients analyze their options and make decisions to reach their business objectives.
