General Commercial Real Estate - Hugh has been active in General Commercial practice on the Eastern Shore of Maryland since 1979. Formerly Vice-President of New Homes Marketing and Devcelopment for the Anderson-Stokes Companies, Smith had management and responsibility for numerous resort developments in Maryland, Deleware, North Carolina and South Carolina. Major Projects included Oyster Cove (MD), Spinnaker Pointe (NC) and Spring Forest (Myrtle Beach SC).

Land - During his career, Snmith has served in many roles in the land acquisition and development process inclusding Broker and Developer. Smith served as president of the Welkin Corporation which developed a 265 lot P.U.D subdivision (Easton Village on Tred Avon) in Eastoin, Maryland and subsequently served as the Managing Member of Tred Avon Properties, LL investor/builder of the Burgee Building a mixed use Bank and Office and office facility in Easton. Smith's significant experience on the equity side of development transactions gives him unique insight into the land development and brokerage process.
