Mike began selling real estate in 1997 and, in 2003, he turned his focus to rural land.
In 2008 he was recruited by the Colliers International Natural Resource Group (NRG) where he was promoted to the NRG Vice President, Land Entitlements. The NRG assisted some of the largest land holders in the U.S. with consultation and disposition. During 2009, Mike provided valuations on over 8,000 acres of forestland and HBU properties in Washington State.
Also during his time at Colliers, Mike co-Managed the Colliers 2008 Multi-Property Request For Offer (RFO) Sale which oversaw the marketing of over $150,000,000 in commercial, resource and residential inventory.
Between 2008 and 2009, he was part of a small team of consultants that assisted one of their clients through a land exchange with the Washington State DNR. In total, over 26,000 acres were exchanged.
Mike offers both brokerage and consulting services and his area of specialty is vacant land - primarily: forestland, rural residential land, natural resource land, recreational acreage, and transitional tracts.
