Jim Volp brings over 35 years experience and knowledge in commercial construction, commercial real estate and development, and property management to Griffin Companies. During the past 13 years, Jim has been responsible for commercial project management and consulting at Griffin including site development, new construction, major construction and renovation, and tenant build out and code compliance. Jim's forte is in the incorporation of each client's functions into the design and construction of its facilities, maximizing long-term operational efficiency while controlling capital expenditures. Jim accomplishes this through a comprehensive understanding of the interrelationships between the client's business and the facility design. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Cloud State University, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He has completed numerous courses in construction law, building codes, real estate investment and taxation, construction management., and holds a Minnesota Real Estate license.
