Michael provides a wide range of land development services and works with the other Griffin team members in sales and leasing of commercial properties. He has broad experience in residential and commercial development and construction, and clearly understands the complexities involved in successfully completing these projects. Michael has been involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years. Past clients include local, national and international companies such as Newell Products, Federal Express, Tetra Pak, Dayton’s/Marshall Fields, Jenny Lee, USA Today/Gannett, Gillette Hospital, Merrill Corporation, Prota Tek International, Equus Computer Co., Northland Electric, Taylor Companies, Stringer Business Systems, GNB Corporation, Fox Chemical & US Bank. He has worked with major developers such as Ryan Companies, Opus, JLT Company, Industrial Equities, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Space Center, Roberts Properties and St. Croix Ventures. Michael is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), Developer’s Council and the Sensible Land Use Coalition (SLUC). Michael received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. from Hamline University.

Land - I have worked with a number of local and national developers to acquire and develop land for housing & commercial. Personally I have developed over 5oo single family lots on 250 acres of land in 10 different development projects.

Industrial - I have sold/leased over 2 million square feet with a combination of local, national and international companies from 5000sf to 300,000sf.
