Todd Rice joined The Hathaway Group in early 2005 after 10 years in private real estate development, specializing in multifamily development. As CEO and co-founder of the Vanadis Group development companies, Todd oversaw the development and construction of better than $50 million in multifamily and commercial development in Arkansas.

Born in Little Rock, Todd has spent his entire life in Arkansas and has served on numerous local and non-profit organizations including The Downtown Partnership, Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, The Governor's Task Force on Integrated Housing and Little Rock Realtor's Assocoation.

Todd attended the Universitry of Arkansas just prior to beginning an eighteen year career in the private insurance industry designing and marketing employee benefit programs to large and small employers throughout Arkansas.

General Commercial Real Estate - The primary focus of my practice is office building transaction, small and large properties. A detailed cash flow analysis and a solid understanding of the office market in my area is essential to properly matching the property to the correct buyer.

Land - My prior experience as a multifamily developer has provided me with a lot of practical experience in evaluating land for my client's various needs. In my development career I oversaw the construction process from early civil work to certificate of occupancy (CO) on virtually every project our company handled. Understanding the client's needs and matching the right site to those needs is what ultimately gets the deal done.

Investment - Investment property sales are the most challenging - and the most rewarding in terms of client satisfaction. Understanding a client's needs and boundaries, then matching the right investment is critical, and is what builds lasting client relationships.
