Except for a four year family-related return to his home state of Minnesota, John has lived in the Albuquerque area since December, 1977. His career has spanned about 40 years in the real estate field with +/- 30 years in the commercial real estate lending arena. John helped to establish the commercial loan department of what is now known as Charter Commercial Mortgage (Bank/Insurance) and he left that company in 1995 as Senior VP to start his own company named Cornerstone Mortgage Company which he owned and operated for about 4 years. In addition, John operated as a commercial lender in the states of MN, WI, CO as well as NM and he also held real estate licenses in 3 of those states for a combined term exceeding 20 years. He is very experienced in all types and sizes of real estate transactions with projects ranging from $100,000 to over $20 million. John believes in "quality growth" and is motivated by helping to make the Albuquerque area and state of New Mexico a safe, progressive and invigorating place in which to work and live.
