James Mitchell joined Coldwell Banker Commercial having spent 13 years building, managing and investing in residential properties. Mr. Mitchell’s specialty is retail and income producing investments. As a student at Drury College, James began investing in real estate while managing his own commercial landscaping company in Springfield, Missouri. Since then, he has built up a property portfolio in multiple states and markets. For the last eight years, Mr. Mitchell has been in retail management for one of the country's largest furniture retailers. He was involved with store location in multiple states while driving some of the company's leading stores. In the retail market, Mr. Mitchell was consistently counted on to run top-volume sales according to his retail business savvy and financial acumen. As a manager he was recognized for hand-picking and mentoring the company's top performers.
