Jim Fitzpatrick brings over thirty years of experience in investment and real estate to the Coldwell Banker Commercial Fishman & Company Investment Services and Hospitality divisions. Having worked with some of the largest real estate firms in the United States, Jim has specialized in such areas as large apartment communities, Section 42 Low Income Housing, 1031 Tax Referral Exchanges and net lease office buildings. He is now taking this knowledge and expertise into the Hospitality Division at Coldwell Banker Commercial Fishman & Company. Jim has been a general partner in thirteen different real estate partnerships, acquired and operated over $100,000,000 in assets located throughout eight states. An expert in his field, Jim Fitzpatrick has addressed investment groups throughout the United States on such topics as 1031 Tax Referral Exchanges, Section 42 Low Income Housing tax credits, investing in: apartment buildings; shopping centers; office buildings and equipment leasing. From 1980-1986 Jim was the co-owner of the Kansas City Corporation which formed successful investment groups to acquire real estate investments. Jim has spent most of his career commingling the real estate and securities markets. This perspective affords Jim a unique perception for the many elements of a real estate transaction.
