General Commercial Real Estate - Bob Jeans is a second generation Oregon Real Estate Broker. His Father became an Oregon Real Estate Agent in 1958. Being raised in the Real Estate and Development industries has given him a vast background in both. Bob was one of 8 children and was raised in Portland. He and his wife Denise have one daughter, son-in-law and 4 grand children. Being raised in Real Estate, Bob learned early to be diversified in the industry, therefore he works in all aspects but specializes in commercial, investment and development properties. Bob joined the National CCIM organization as a candidate member, he took and passed their entire required curriculum towards earning the CCIM designation. This course work is considered by most to be the PhD of Real Estate. Bob has also been active in the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), which is an affiliate of the Nation Association of Realtors. In 2004 Bob joined the National Council of Exchangers (NCE), from which he earned and was awarded the Equity Marketing Specialist (EMS) designation. Bob has also earned and was awarded the Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist (RECS) designation for his expertise on the use of the internet for the Real Estate Industry. In 2004 he was elected to be the President of the 2005 Board of Directors of the Commercial Investment Division of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors. Bob was re-elected to serve as President for a second term for 2006. President of the Oregon Chapter of Realtors Land Institute for 2007 and again in 2008.
